There are rumors Mercenaries 2’s release is to be pushed back into next year but EA are refusing to comment on the matter.

Reports came in yesterday that Mercenaries 2 wouldn’t reach it’s target of being released in time for Christmas but EA says this is entirely unconfirmed and will not release a statement beyond that on the matter.

Mercenaries 2 is to be released on the PS3, PC, Xbox 360 and PS2, and will let players roam around Venezuela blowing up a huge array of things, either alone or in co-op mode.
