Owners of Pokémon X & Y will be able to take part in the first tournament using the Pokémon Global Link next month, on February 20th. Trainers will be able to connect together online and utilize Pokémon from the Kalos region for their fights.

If you’ve registered your copy of Pokémon X or Y, you’re already qualified to take part in the Beta Competition. Others can secure spots with their rankings in Global Showdown events. If you haven’t yet, you can still register, but you only have until January 31st. Hurry!

Pokémon X & Y are available now for Nintendo 3DS.
