Published 8 months, 2 weeks ago by Robert Workman

Red Dead Redemption, Super Mario Kart and Super Castlevania 4 have two things in common. One, these are excellent games, and two, they all have cheat codes. That said, we’re counting down the top 100 cheats, codes and tips of all time. Did your favorites make the list? Let us know!

Without further ado, here are numbers 60-51. We're halfway there!

60.) Super Mario Kart: Unlock the Special Cup in Time Trials (SNES)

Nothing beats the original Super Mario Kart, the racer that started it all for Nintendo fans. However, there's one particular circuit that stands out, a Special Cup that will test your elite racing skills. To access it in the Time Trials, select your racer, then push left on the pad to move the cursor beside Mushroom Cup. Then press L, R, L, R, L, L, R, R, A. You'll see the Special Cup appear just below the Star Cup. Enjoy the ride!

59.) Revenge of Shinobi: Unlimited Shurikens (Sega Genesis)

Being a ninja is sweet, but doesn't it stink when you run out of shurikens to hurl at enemies? With this cheat, you won't have to worry about that. Go to the options menu, move the cursor down to shurikens and change the number to "00". Leave it there for 30 seconds and it'll change to an infinite symbol. Throw to your heart's content!

58.) Grand Theft Auto 4: Get Primo Weapons (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360)

It's great to use weapons in Grand Theft Auto 4, if only to cause chaos around Liberty City. However, they can take a little while to locate and use, unless you have these awesome cheat codes. Dial 486-555-0100 and you'll gain access to a number of great weapons, including the baseball bat, grenades, combat pistol, combat shotgun, SMG, carbine rifle, combat sniper and our favorite, the RPG. BOOM!

57.) Super Castlevania 4: Get Powered Up (SNES)

The final fight against Castlevania in Super Castlevania 4 can be rather tough – but not if you're prepared. Before you head up the staircase to take him on in battle, jump to the left of the staircase. You'll land on an invisible platform. Head down the invisible staircase to the left and you'll be rewarded with goodies, including 99 hearts, a cross and a fully upgraded whip. Now you're ready to whoop some vampire butt.

56.) Assassin's Creed 3: Enter the Assassin Turkey (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3)

There are some great missions to complete in Assassin's Creed 3, but one particular Easter egg we enjoy is unlocking the wrath of the Assassin Turkey! To gain this little guy, get to sequence 6 or later and make your way to the Davenport Homestead. Hang around the back corner of the buildings where you'll find a turkey and press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B and A (or circle and X on the PS3 version), and he'll soon wear an assassin's hood. Sorry, no wing blades for him.

55.) Ikari Warriors: Infinite Continues (NES)

Ikari Warriors is a tough game, especially if you don't know the code that lets you continue with your mission. Thankfully, that's why we're here. When you lose all your lives, and before the game resets, quickly enter A, B, B and A on your controller. Your warrior will reappear with a full set of lives.

54.) Streets of Rage: Additional Continues (Sega Genesis)

The diabolical Mr. X doesn't stand a chance against your, ahem, rageful fists, but just in case you need a little help, here's how to unlock extra continues for the game. On the title screen, press Left, Left, B, B, B, C, C and C. Then press Start. You'll be good to go with plenty of continues!

53.) Super Mario Bros.: The Continue Cheat (NES)

Don't you hate it when you run out of lives in Super Mario Bros.? Well, that's if you didn't perform the turtle shell cheat to stock up. Not to worry. Once your game is over and it returns back to the title screen, hold down A, B and press Start. You'll start right back on the level you left off at.

52.) Goldeneye: Big Head Mode (Nintendo 64, Wii)

Having a big head in a multiplayer shooter isn't the greatest idea, because, well, doesn't it make it easier to get sniped? Regardless, here's how to unlock it. Go to the cheats menu and press L + R + Up, C-Right, R + Left, R + Up, Up, R + Right,
Up, L + R + C-Down, L + R + Down, L + R + C-Left. You'll hear a shot when it's successful. Oh, and if you have the Wii version, enter the code 477MYFR13NDS4R3SP13S. It works there as well.

51.) Red Dead Redemption: Unlock All Areas (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3)

For our last cheat (for this week, anyway), we turn to Rockstar Games' massive Western adventure, which can take a while when it comes to unlocking all the areas. That is, unless you cheat. Head to the Cheats menu and enter "YOU GOT YOURSELF A FINE PAIR OF EYES" and you'll immediately unlock all areas. NOTE: You won't be able to save after you do this.
