Homies and Followers

However badass you may be, to expand your empire in Steelport, you will need help. Your job as the leader of the Saints will be to recruit new people to your cause and establish partnerships with key characters.

There are two groups of people (homies and followers) that can join your cause; once they are with you they take on the same responsibility and actions. Anyone who agrees to stick by your side will follow you on foot, into buildings, and into any vehicle if there is room for them. More importantly, though, these are loyal companions who will fight with you and attack anyone who is giving you trouble.

These are gangbangers that appear in any hood that you have taken over. They also roam around your HQ to keep you company. Call them to your side simply by getting close and pressing the recruit button.

Likewise, they can be dismissed just as easily. The number of followers you have, their health, and even weapons can be upgraded though you cell phone. Also, when you complete Activities and missions in the Campaign you will receive more options to customize your gang’s style and the signs they throw up...
