The single-shot firearm may seem underwhelming compared to the automatic weapons but it can be very powerful. All handguns are great tools for those who favor accuracy over quantity. While its clip size and damage are initially nothing to brag about, people who are skilled enough to pull off headshots will find pistols to be extremely effective.

Another great thing about pistols is that they are rela-tively cheap to upgrade, and for a decent price you can get armor-piercing or exploding bullets. To make the most of these weapons, up-grade the ammo capacity and the ability to dual wield in the Upgrades Menu.
