Despite having to work their way back up from the bottom of a new food chain, and despite the fact that they are deep inside enemy territory, the Saints are the biggest thing to ever be a big thing. You can can’t drive through a neighborhood without being within a minute’s drive of a Planet Saints. They’re that big. With that kind of fame, fanboys and fangirls are inevitable. Even for Pierce.

Photo ops are all part of the parcel of fame. As you move through Steelport, you might notice that you can see pedestrians wearing Saints-themed clothes with camera icons over their head. If you slow down long enough, you might even hear their squeals of excitement as you approach.

These people want a photo op with you, and they are willing to pay for it. There are 20 such fans scattered throughout the city, and it’s simple to collect their cash. Just approach the fan on foot, and interact with them when the on-screen prompt appears. A snap later, you get your money, and you’re free to go. These are a lot easier to find than the other collectibles because your die-hard fans are actually looking for you rather than hiding in obscure places.

While getting your picture taken doesn’t contribute directly to your repeatedly stomping the Syndicate in the places it hurts most, the payout is decent enough. Early in the game, when you don’t have a lot of properties and your income is low, taking a minute out of your schedule to give some fan the best day of their life can help fill your wallet with cash that you can spend on more practical things—like frag grenades.
