Hop into the nearest car and follow the minimap to meet Pierce. The lock boxes you looted earlier have several deeds to properties located throughout Steelport. To cripple the Syndicate you can purchase these properties to increase your control percentage for each district.

In addition, buying properties gives you additional hourly income and even provides you a discount at any shop you own. The place Pierce wants to buy is a Friendly Fire, which is a great investment considering the need for ammo and the importance of weapons upgrades. Stand under the FOR SALE sign to make your first property purchase for $100. Buying this shop increases your control of downtown by 1 percent, generates $500 of income per hour, and provide a 5 percent discount on anything in the store.
