2.2 Performance Careers
Sims can now take on new careers, known as performance careers, that bring them out of the office! Obtain these careers using the newspaper or computer, or by talking to a proprietor at any performance venue. Performance careers include Acrobat, Magician, and Singer.
Sims starting out in all three careers can perform for tips on community lots, and Singers have the added opportunity of performing Sing-A-Gram jobs for paying customers.
As performers advance, they can perform shows at venues around town. Performance careers reward Sims for taking care of job responsibilities listed on the Career tab. As Sims earn job experience, they receive promotions.
Note
For more information on the new performance careers, click ahead to the Careers section.

Gigs can be performed at any venue with a stage. But you’ll need to prove you deserve time in the spotlight before you can step in front of an adoring audience...
