You can only choose the audition socials when interacting with the proprietor of a venue. This is required to book gigs.

Showtime offers more than just new careers and venues. New socials are added to the mix, increasing the number of conversation options.

All of the original socials from The Sims 3 and any expansion packs you have installed are still available. Some socials are related to traits.

Others are inspired by skill development. Use this table of socials added to Showtime to help guide conversations. Here’s how the table breaks down:

Social: Name of social as seen in the conversation menu

Commodity: Commodity associated with the social

Actor/Target Age: Ages in which the social is applicable

  • C = Child
  • T = Teen
  • Y = Young Adult
  • A = Adult
  • E = Elder
