Not all of the Sims of Starlight Shores have the talent (or desire) necessary to tackle the challenges of the new performance careers. And that’s a good thing. Without a diverse work force, the town simply wouldn’t function.
It takes a variety of skills and specialties to support such an idealistic environment where the performing arts can thrive.
Sims can find a wide range of traditional careers by visiting the following establishments or by browsing for jobs in a newspaper or on a computer.
Many Sims appreciate the set work hours and steady pay offered by these traditional careers. Working day jobs has the added benefit of leaving the evenings free to take in live shows at Starlight Shores’ many venues.
Struggling newcomers to the performance careers should consider rooming with a Sim pursuing a traditional career.
It makes it much easier to pay the bills (and buy cool props) when someone in the household brings in a regular paycheck—you can always pay them back later when you make it big!
