Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Delayed To March

But at least it's still coming, right?

It’s been a long, weary road for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, City Interactive’s CryEngine-powered shooter sequel.  At one point, it looked as if the game would finally make it on time for a release date – in this case, this month, on January 15th.  Alas, that’s not the case, and the game has been delayed again.

The delay is only for a couple of months this time.  City has set a release date of March 12, 2013 for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, so players will finally (fingers crossed) be able to use their sniper skills to the nth degree.

The game recreates an authentic sniper experience, complete with realistic ballistics that come into play when taking shots and a heavy reliance on stealth, so you don’t give away your position.  You’ll also be able to utilize other items in the game, including night vision and thermo vision goggles.  But make sure you keep your eye on the prize…

We’ll have a preview of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 for you sometime this month, to give you a better idea what to expect.  Relax, folks, it is coming…
