Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will be arriving on August 21st, City Interactive have announced.

The sequel is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, and  if the screenshots are anything to go by, it is gorgeous.

The game has been created using CryEngine 3, the engine Crytek have used for the Crysis games so it’s almost unquestionably gonna be a looker. The dev team, City Interactive, is billing the game as the only multi-platform first person shooter that’s completely based on sniping. The AI system has been radically overhauled to create what they’re calling “unprecedented” levels of realism in weaponry, ballistics and environmental factors.
