If you’ve been waiting to fight with a buddy through the hellishly ravaged streets of Dubai in Spec Ops: The Line, your luck’s turning up.
2K Games has announced today that the free cooperative multiplayer mode for the game has gone live for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and PC. The mode features four co-op scenarios that have you following a certain set of objectives, while battling enemies that want to bring you down. From what we’ve seen so far of the content, it’s very good, and the fact it’s being offered at no additional charge is a cool bonus in itself.
On a side note, Spec Ops: The Line is one of the better action games we’ve seen this summer. Its action may look typical like most shooters, but the emotional scale it carries is harrowing at times, as not every decision you make is an easy one. If you get a chance, we highly recommend checking it out. You’ll get your action fill and even feel something after you’re done with it. How many games can you say did that for you?
