When the mission begins your objective will be to go to tower, and the fine folks at Insomniac Games were kind enough to plop an objective marker on your screen. Grind and bounce your way over there to complete your task, then get busy on the next, clear the Scab Fort.
Tip: We have found that the Dirty Harry is a one-shot kill on Scab scum. It’s highly advised that you save your ammunition for encounters with this type of adversary.
After slaying all the Scabs on the ground level your objective will update and require you to climb the tower. Move to the marker on your screen, taking control of the Harpoon and shooting it at the target across the way. You can now use this rope to grind to the next level, something you’ll be doing a lot of over the next few minutes.
Continue to bounce, grind and swing your way up the tower, using the Harpoon to pass back and forth between the two buildings. When you come across some Scabs, use your Harpoon to shoot the nearby explosive barrels, or just use your TNTeddy to get the job done. This is post-apocalyptic hero’s choice here.
Tip: Be smarter than we were. Spend some time reading the instructions on how to use the Harpoon, and take note of the shining, glimmering targets that you should be hitting with said Harpoon. We did quite a bit of wandering around because we didn’t pay attention.
When you finally reach your objective at the top of the tower you’ll be introduced to the Scab Rusher. Just as the name would suggest, these jerks will rush you. You can melee them, but it’s easier to bounce and grind around them while taking them out with the TNTeddy or Dirty Harry. When the last one falls you’ll have completed part of the clear the Scabs off the roofs objective.
The second part of the objective is on the other roof. Don’t worry, there are no Harpoons to worry about, so just grind over there and keep on doing what you do until all of the Scab Rusher punks are dead.
With no more adversaries to deal with you’ll be free to open the panic room. Do so, then move on and search the debris for the voice recorder once a scripted event returns you to the ground level. This will pretty much wrap up the mission, just return to the Oxfords’ base to complete your final objective.
