Tuesday’s Rock Band Update Brings Carly Rae Jepsen and Marcy Playground

Here's our number…call us maybe?

Harmonix continues to support Rock Band 3 with weekly song releases, and coming off a great week that included The Band’s “The Weight” and other hit songs, it’s prepping a Top 40 hit that will have a few of you singing…and some of you, well, not.

This coming Tuesday, November 27th, you’ll be able to add Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” to your Rock Band collection, for play in both Rock Band 3 and the Xbox Live Arcade/PlayStation Network hit Rock Band Blitz.

But that’s not all.  If you prefer something a little more mellow (and something that doesn’t request you calling it later), you can check out the alternative favorite “Sex and Candy” by Marcy Playground, which also features a Pro Guitar/Bass expansion for an additional dollar.

Both songs go for $1.99 (160 Microsoft points) apiece.  So grab your point cards and buy them maybe?  (Sorry, we’re done.  No, really.)
