Xbox One Games You Missed in 2018

While the Xbox One didn’t see as many big exclusive releases as originally planned in 2018, players who are loyal to Microsoft’s console still had a ton of great titles to choose from. In fact, there are a couple of titles that might have managed to slip under the radar. To help you sort through the rabble, here are a few releases you might have missed on the Xbox One in 2018.

Dark Souls Remastered

While it isn’t a completely new release, having originally released back in 2011. Many players still haven’t taken their first step into the brutal and unforgiving world of Dark Souls. Now, though, it’s easier than ever to do so thanks to a completely remastered version of the game with improved visuals and performance. Of course, those just diving into the game for the first time will want to be ready for a challenge, as Dark Souls is ready and waiting to push you to the limit with challenging gameplay, battles and puzzles that force you to think on your toes and always remain five steps ahead.

Ashen

Focused on tough combat and intense survival, Ashen takes the idea of Dark Souls and throws it into a stunning and haunting world filled with intense combat, challenging puzzles, and tons of great enemies for players to battle against. You’ll also be able to run into other players and work alongside them to defeat great foes and challenges. Released near the start of December, Ashen is available exclusively on Xbox One and those looking for a new Souls-like experience will want to add this to their watchlist.

Subnautica

Originally released on PC, Subnautica brings players into a harsh and unforgiving world as they explore a massive planet made entirely out of ocean. Dive deep into the dark caverns of the sea as you hunt for materials, build your own base and find the secrets that lie beneath the surface in this haunting and challenging survival simulator. Developed by Aurora44, Subnautica is one of the most promising indie games that has released over the past couple of years and offers hours of gameplay for those looking to invest their free-time in a grand adventure.
