007 Legends Adds Classic Villain Actors, Bond Scribe

Richard Kiel will reprise his role as Jaws!

007 Legends may not have the kind ofbrand value as, say, the original Goldeneye game, but when it comes to paying tribute to James Bond in this day and age of gaming… um…nobody does it better?

The upcoming first-person shooter is moving right along, and while we prepare our preview for the game (look for it next week), some new actors have been added to it to give it that extra Bond push. Richard Kiel, who portrayed the vicious yet lovable (such a combo) Jaws in several films, will reprise his role for the game, in digital and speaking form. In addition, Michael Londsdale will refill his role as Hugo Drax, threatening harm to the world. This news follows the previous report that Skyfall’s Naomie Harris and Rory Kinnear will be included in the game. (You can expect 007 himself, Daniel Craig, along for the ride.) More cast announcements are expected soon.

Also, fun little side note – the game’s script is being written by Bruce Feirstein, who previously penned such Bond classics as Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and The World Is Not Enough. He’s also worked on past Bond games, including 007 Everything Or Nothing and Blood Stone.

Look for 007 Legends on October 16!
