Nintendo may be bringing their new autopilot feature to the DS, and not just to New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

News comes from Nihon Keizai Shimbun (via IGN), and claims that Nintendo is exploring “compatibility for its portable platforms” for the feature.
The idea of the function is to help those that become overly frustrated with a section they just can’t get through. Demo Play will take over control of the character and effectively skip the segment. New Super Mario Bros. Wii will apparently be the first game to support the feature.
