Apex Legends: Mirage Gets An Official (and Hilarious) Dating Profile

EA is taking Respawn's Apex Legends where we thought it would go: Dating.

Apex Legends has been doing incredible ever since the free-to-play battle royale game made its surprise debut earlier this year and while the team continues to add fixes and new content, EA decided they wanted to take the game into unknown territory: Dating.

The profile itself screams Mirage. It’s so flippant, so kinda-cringe, but definitely something we could see this character doing. “Hey gerl,” begins the intro, “and that’s with an “e” for excellent. Lingo! I’m hip with the kids. Anyway, don’t be shy. Say hi. Plenty of me to go around (literally). And I know you don’t want to be bamboozled, so here’s the deal: I don’t want to settle down. But neither do you. You want to go out, have a few beers, not deal with a bunch of obnoxious friends, and just throw caution to the wind with no reperkus-repra-rep-pre-no bad stuff.”

It gets worse (or better?) as the profile goes on with an image attached that has the knowing smirk we all love and kind of hate at the same time. You can see more of his dating profile right here

It’s one of those things where it’s so bad, it’s almost good. Like, we kind of regret reading the whole thing because we love Mirage, but at the same time – we can’t wait to read even more. Thanks, EA, thanks.

As for the incredible online game itself, Apex Legends is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. A mobile game is also in the works, which you can read more about right here
