It looks like progress is already moving forward on the next chapter in the Assassin's Creed series, even though we're thoroughly enjoying the Tyranny of King Washington DLC that just started releasing for part three.

A pair of sites have found information that could very well lead to the reveal of the next chapter in the series, which is going under the name Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.  According to Videogamer.com, three LinkedIn profiles indicated that employees were hard at work on the next Assassin's Creed game.  Meanwhile, Kotaku managed to get its hands on a marketing poster, one that features a white cloaked assassin surrounded by fellow pirates, in the midst of a sea battle.

Ubisoft hasn't confirmed any of these details as of yet, so your guess is as good as ours in terms of this being official.  But a pirate Assassin?  That would sound pretty sweet, especially if the developers at Ubisoft Montreal bring back those awesome sea battles, like we experienced in Assassin's Creed III.

Look for more details on the next Assassin tale in the months ahead.
