For the next free game in its recently launched Xbox Live Gold plan, Microsoft is ready to make a killing. No, really.
The company announced today that the latest title is none other than the classic Ubisoft sequel Assassin's Creed II, which introduces players to Ezio Auditore di Firenze for the first time.
For those who haven't played the game before, that's quite a deal, and others may enjoy rediscovering the older stomping grounds of the series before experiencing Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag this October.
Assassin's Creed II will be available July 16-31. After that, a new game will step up in early August to take its place. Get your hands on it while you can.
