DICE has announced there will be a few playable weapons from Battlefield: 1943 in next year’s offering from the team; Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Amongst the standard weaponry there will be a sniper rifle, sub-machine gun and semi-automatic rifle. We know not yet where and how this will become available in the game as all we have on this is a tweet from DICE spotted by Joystiq.
Battlefield 1943 came out this month on the PS3 and 360 with much acclaim from critics and fans, a PC version is set to be released in September.
We won’t see Battlefield: Bad Company 2 until early next year but it’s expected to delight with more of the destruction and humor of the first. See our game hub for more.
