New Berserk Musou Gameplay Trailer

Koei Tecmo shows off the first gameplay of the new Berserk title!

Just before E3 2016 Koei Tecmo and Omega Force unveiled a teaser trailer for a new Berserk game. The famed Dynasty Warriors developer aimed to mix its unique game design with the popular manga and anime property. However, the teaser trailer only offered a quick look at some of the more sexualized aspects of the property, with no real gameplay to show off.

Now all of that has changed as Koei Tecmo released a new teaser trailer that shows off a snippet of gameplay. The clip shows Guts, the main character in the series, slashes away with his giant sword. The developers have stated that Guts will not be the only playable character, and that there will be more cinematic boss battles than what fans have come to expect from the various Dynasty Warriors games and spin-offs.

No release date has been given, but the game will release for the PlayStation 4, PS Vita and Steam according to the trailer. Other sources indicate that an Xbox One release is also in the cards.
