While we heard that Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 had evolved back in July, it was still pretty surprising to learn that it has in fact become an altogether new IP.

Randy Pitchford, co-founder and CEO of Gearbox Software spoke at PAX yesterday, saying “they [Gearbox] kind of started to go in a place that started to get a little way from what the core of what the Brothers in Arms brand is all about… it needed to be unshackled.”
