The information is still seeping out over the eventual sequel for Call of Duty: Black Ops, between an accidental pre-order slip by Target that clearly shows the game’s logo and, as of this morning, an accidental slip of the website.  Oh, come on, Activision, just reveal it already.

Sigh…oh well, we’ll have to wait until tonight.  This is just a friendly reminder that during the NBA Playoffs, Activision will finally reveal the first trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, making it official and starting the speculation over what else will be shown leading to its (rumored) November 13 release date.

Word has it that the game takes place in the 21st century, with technology and weapons converging to create a new generation of warfare, according to the site.  No word yet if any characters from the original game will be making a return, but it’d be interesting to see who pops up, given the nature of the story.

And of course, there’s also the multiplayer, which is always a huge factor with the Call of Duty games.  What will it bring?  And will it support Elite?  We’ll find out the answers soon enough.  Let’s just hope it isn’t by accident.
