How to Pack-A-Punch in Voyage of Despair

Voyage of Despair is just one of three base maps that players can explore in Black Ops 4 zombies and knowing all the intricacies of the map will help you out along the way. Before you can start up the process to activate the Pack-A-Punch, you’re going to need to find the item itself. To do this, you’re going to need to get your hands on a very special artifact, the Sentinel Artifact.

How to Find the Artifact

To find the Sentinel Artifact, you’re going to need to make your way down to the Poop Deck, which is on the other side of the ship from where you spawn. Once here, look for a raised platform where you’ll find the Sentinel Artifact waiting to be activated. If you’re having trouble finding it, then listen out for some form of commentary from your character about it, which should trigger when you’re close to it.

Now, this is where things start to get tricky. Once you activate the Sentinel Artifact, three big things are going to happen. First, you’re going to hear a loud explosion as one of the stacks in the distance blows up. Second, a bunch of teleporters will activate, allowing you to blink around to different portions of the map. Finally, four glowing symbols will activate all around the map. You need to find those symbols.

Find all the Symbols

The very first symbol can be found just above the pedestal in the center of the Poop Deck—where you can see the symbols outlines. Activate it before you leave the area.

The second symbol can be found by heading to the room with the Grand Staircase. Look for the symbol at the bottom of the staircase.

To find the third symbol, make your way to the Cargo Hold and make your way to the very back, where you’ll find this pedestal and symbol waiting.

The final symbol can be found in the Turbine Room. Head underwater and make your way through the hallway down to the massive red-painted turbine. You should see the symbol here.

Use the Pack-A-Punch

Now that you’ve activated all four of the symbols, head back to the Poop Deck to the main pedestal. Since all four symbols have been activated, the pedestal should have transformed, turning itself into the Pack-A-Punch machine. You can now start using the Pack-A-Punch to upgrade your weapons. Keep in mind that you will need 5,000 points in order to upgrade a weapon, but this is an investment that we’d suggest making as it will make your weapons that much stronger. It should also be noted that the Pack-A-Punch machine moves around periodically to the different pedestals you activated.
