Zombies: Attack of the Radioactive Thing – Turn on the Power

Learn how to find the power handle and activate the power box in Attack of the Radioactive Thing.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s latest Zombies adventure has arrived, and players can now step directly into the next installment of Willard’s crazy movie series. Set in a 50s horror movie on the beach, Attack of the Radioactive Thing begins in black and white, but as the thriller wears on, things begin to brighten up and come into focus. Of course, one of the first things you’ll want to do in Zombies is activate the power, which will also turn on all the perk machines. In this article we’ll show you how to find the power switch, where you can get the power handle, and how to turn the power on in Attack of the Radioactive Thing.

How to Turn on the Power

Unlike the past Zombies DLC, where the power switch was found pretty close to the spawn room, players will have to progress a little before things become apparent to them. Naturally, you’ll find the power switch at the power station, which can be found by heading through the Diner, up the hill, and towards a fenced-in area that looks like a power station. You’ll then find the power switch on the side of a small shed. There’s just one problem, the handle is missing.

Now you need to find the handle that allows you to actually turn the power on. Head back to the spawn room and take the path opposite of it. This will lead you to the beach, where you should get a view of the Radioactive Thing in the far distance, off the shore. Look for a hill in the center of the lot overlooking the beach (it has a bench in it) and then look in the sand for a dismembered and bloody zombie hand. This hand holds the level for the power switch.

Grab the handle and then make your way back over to the power station, where you first found the power switch. We’d suggest not opening any additional doors on your way, as it could make finding your way back to the power station more complicated. Keep it simple and you’ll be back at the station and attaching the level to the power switch in no time.

Once the switch is repaired, go ahead and flip it on, bringing power to the entire town. Congratulations! Now you can start stocking up on things like Tuff Nuff, and even start working on learning how to unlock the Pack-a-Punch.

Now that you know how to turn on the power, it’s time to get rolling in the latest Zombies map.
