The long-awaited Dark Souls II is still a ways off from release, but Namco Bandai provided a release date for the game.
That said, it will release on March 11th, 2014 in North America, and just a couple of days later in Japan and Europe. Those dates are for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, though the PC edition will follow “shortly thereafter,” so those players won’t have to wait long.
In addition, Namco Bandai revealed a new Collector’s Edition of the game, which comes with the game, a special tin case, a 12-inch knight figurine, the game soundtrack, a cloth map and art book. There’s no word on price, but it’s estimated to cost $80.
