Big news for fans of Frank West: Capcom will be keeping him about.
This news comes from Seth Killian of Capcom Unity, who, in a conversation with Destructoid stated that West has been a hit amongst fans, even after Dead Rising.
“For better or for worse, [Capcom] Japan has understood that ‘the West’ likes Frank,” Killian explained.
“So maybe that’s why he’s called Frank West? I don’t know…
“Rightly or wrongly [Capcom] Japan is convinced that Joe Six pack here in America love god damn Frank West. He will be making appearances in as many games as they can get him into.”
Despite this reputed love for the character, and the fact Frank West has made a number of cameos recently (see Lost Planet 2, Tatsunoko Vs Capcom and Left 4 Dead 2), he won’t be featuring in Dead Rising 2.
Dead Rising 2 will be coming to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, it’ll feature the chance to take on 7000 zombies at a time. Fantastic. Head over to our game hub to find out more info as it comes.
