Trigger the Heroic Warsat Down Public Event

To get the heroic version of the Warsat Down public event, first you need to start the regular version of it. One player needs to approach the Warsat and interact with it to start the public event. At this point a circle appears on the ground around the device. You want to stay in the circle until you see 100 percent on the counter, which indicates the venting has been completed. Obviously, this won’t activate the heroic version of the event, but we’re getting to that.

Start to defend the Warsat from the enemies that are attack and you’ll notice that three closed Shriekers are sitting idle. In addition, two yellow-bar Hive Wizards will appear at a specific time during the event. You need to take down the two Wizards, then one of the Shriekers opens so that you and your team can destroy it.

Keep playing through the event and two more sets of dual Hive Wizards will spawn. The same process you just performed on the Wizards needs to be repeated here. Kill both of the Wizards, then destroy the Shrieker as quickly as possible. Take out all three Shriekers and the activity transitions to a heroic version of the Warsat Down heroic public event. As a word of warning, don’t stand in the circle too long or you’ll end up completing the event before it changes to the heroic variant. Take a step outside the circle if you need to.

In the heroic version of the event, a Hive Ogre spawns with a ton of health. Obviously the higher your Power the easier this will be, but when you first run through the event it’s going to feel like it has a near infinite amount of health. Focus on hitting the Hive Ogre’s critical weakness, which is the spot where his beam originates. Take down the Ogre and all remaining enemies will de-spawn as well, causing the reward chest to drop. If you’ve made it through the main Warmind story missions and first world quests you’ll also have access to a Resonate Stem or a Rasputin Armor Code.
