Diablo 3 has been getting plenty of attention since it arrived on consoles early last month. Don’t forget, though, that next-generation plans are also in the works for Blizzard’s legendary adventure, and with it will come a new expansion.
The publisher has announced that the Reaper of Souls expansion will be making the jump from PC to PlayStation 4 when that version of Diablo 3 arrives. This new add-on will feature the same user-friendly control scheme as the original game, as well as additional social features and touchpad implementation for better movement, should you prefer to use it.
Blizzard also confirmed that the expansion would be available to play for the first time at BlizzCon next month, which takes place on November 8th and 9th.
No word yet if the Reaper of Souls expansion will come to other consoles as well, but Blizzard stated that more announcements are expected to be made during the show. We’ll see what happens.
Diablo 3 is available now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and coming soon to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
