Codemasters is busy putting the finishing touches on its racing rompus DiRT Showdown, but if you were expecting the game to pull into your garage on May 29 you may want to consider doing a few more laps with the demo on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
The company announced the release date shift on Xbox 360 and PS3, arriving on June 12.
When asked about the delay, the teams said that the game will have a clearer release window (outside of E3 and Dragon’s Dogma) and also “create a bigger opportunity for success” in North America.
Meanwhile, the PC version of the game is still set to arrive on May 24, so if that’s your platform of choice you’ll be happy to know that its release is still, ahem, on track.
