One of the most highly anticipated sequels coming this year has finally gotten a release date.  And this time around, it’s not just Wii owners who should be getting excited.

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, the latest project from Warren Spector and his team at Junction Point, is coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii on November 18.  The game will feature Mickey Mouse returning to battle in a strange new world, along with the help of unlikely ally Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.  Players will be able to work together in a co-op fashion, battling enemies and knocking down walls to find new areas.

In addition, the 3DS release The Power of Illusion, which looks like a great successor to the Genesis classic Castle of Illusion, should be arriving on the same date, giving players plenty to be happy about with its gorgeous 2D action and classic platforming gameplay.

Look for previews on both of these games in the weeks ahead!
