A few years ago the Xbox E3 press conference was the start of E3 week. It took place on Monday morning and welcomed press and gamers alike to the biggest annual event in gaming news. That changed a bit when Bethesda moved into the Sunday night slot, and it looks as though Microsoft has taken notice. While Electronic Arts will be the first E3 press conference this year, Microsoft has moved the Xbox E3 2017 press conference to Sunday to get the jump on the competition. Find out where and what time you can watch the Scorpio unveiling at the Xbox E3 2017 press conference.
Where and When
The Xbox E3 2017 press conference will take place on Sunday, June 11 at 2:00 PM PDT. This year the broadcast will be available in 4K, so if you have an Xbox One S or some way to output to a 4K display, you can get the highest quality view of Microsoft’s latest Xbox revision. The broadcast will be streamed live in 4K on the official Xbox Mixer Channel and YouTube. You can also watch it (not in 4K) on the Xbox Twitch Channel embedded below, or even on Twitter or Facebook.
If you’re viewing from outside of the US or simply want to experience the Xbox E3 2017 press conference in a language other than English, you should tune into the Xbox Mixer Channel where you will have multiple language options. At the moment, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish (LATAM), Portuguese (LATAM), and support for English Closed Captions will be offered.
While Sony is offering the ability to watch their E3 press conference in a movie theater, Microsoft is offering the option to watch it at any Microsoft Store in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and Australia. There will also be a Forza Motorsport 6 tournament so that attendees can win prizes. You can find your local Microsoft store here, and find additional details on the Microsoft Store Facebook event page.
