Target lock is simply facing your target and keeping in range. Actually locking onto a target would ruin the skill based combat they try to develop. None of Elder Scrolls games had a target lock.Oct. 22, 2013, 10:31 a.m.

not that i am aware of, because it is skilled positional combat they are trying to employ. if your facing the enemy u should be hitting said enemy, its a role playing game that tries very hard to add as much realism as they can without killing the dream of it being fantasy. Just their way of making us earn our kills and not blindly button mash with a target lock.Oct. 22, 2013, 10:31 a.m.

I sometimes get a red colored reticle when targetting an enemy - this is as close as I could get to a "lock".
Try a rune spell if you are having trouble - its like a "semtex grenade" from that dootie gameOct. 22, 2013, 10:31 a.m.
