FIFA 10 gains Dutch national team

EA finally gets the license

EA has struck a deal with the Dutch football association allowing the likeness and names of their players to be used in their upcoming FIFA 10.

In the past, Dutch players have been in the FIFA series in their clubs, but the national team itself has not. Real kits, names or official likenesses have never been included in the game before, only a fictitious team was playable.

FIFA have a long history of using licensed details everywhere they can, so this will no doubt be fantastic news for the company.

FIFA 10 will be out on DS, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360. It hits the shelves in the US on 20th October, in Australia on 1st October and across Europe on 2nd October.
