FortCraft – Phone is Not Supported Error

Find out whether your device is supported in FortCraft and if there’s a way to fix this error.

FortCraft beta testing signups went live recently, prompting tons of people to jump at the chance to play a Fortnite-like battle royale game on mobile. Developed by Netease, FortCraft is a shameless mobile knockoff of Fortnite that aims to rival Epic’s upcoming mobile version of Fortnite Battle Royale.

Despite opening the beta signups to both iOS and Android users, some are still unable to get into the FortCraft beta test, either from iOS signups filling up fast or from compatibility errors on startup. Depending on your device, you may have encountered an error after loading FortCraft that says your phone model is not supported currently.

If you received the ‘phone is not supported’ compatibility error, it means that your device likely does not have the right processor or hardware to play the game and therefore you cannot play FortCraft at this time. There doesn’t seem to be a fix for this error yet. The only solution for right now is to simply wait for the next FortCraft beta testing phase.

FortCraft phone not supported error

Considering FortCraft is still in the early stages of beta testing, there’s bound to be some hiccups along the way. The current FortCraft build has not been optimized to support the full range of Android and iOS devices yet, but hopefully the game will support more devices in the future. Here’s how to sign up for the FortCraft beta test if you haven’t done so already.

Here are all the compatible devices for the FortCraft beta, according to the FortCraft Testflight website:

iOS

  • Requires iOS 9.0 or later
  • Requires iPhone 6 or later / iPad mini 4 or later / iPad Air 2 or later / iPod 6 or later

Android

  • Requires Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 or later / Snapdragon 810 or later / Samsung Exynos 7420 or later / Huawei Kirin 930 or later / Huawei Kirin 650 or later / MediaTek Helio X25 or later

Storage

  • At least 600 MB available space

Currently, FortCraft beta signups have reached their limit for iOS users, which means you won’t be able to join the current beta test on iOS unless you were one of the first to apply. We suggest applying for the Fortnite Mobile beta test instead, as signups are still ongoing.

If you have a compatible Android device, you can still join the FortCraft beta by becoming a beta tester and visiting the Google Play Store to download the FortCraft test build.

We’ll keep you up to date if anything changes regarding FortCraft’s supported devices or beta status, so be sure to check back here for updates.
