Fortnite Battle Royale has quickly become one of the biggest games around. The first device that Fortnite will be coming to are iOS devices. This includes both the iPhone and iPad family of devices, which means you’ll have more than enough ways to play Fortnite Battle Royale, no matter where you are. But what exactly will this mobile-oriented version of the game be? Well, it’s going to be exactly what players would expect from Fortnite Battle Royale.

Along with the announcement of the coming mobile version, Epic Games also clarified that the mobile version of the game will be the exact same version that players on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC will be able to play. This is astonishing news, but perhaps the even more astonishing thing is the fact that the PC, PlayStation 4, Mac, and iOS versions of the game will all feature Cross Play support and Cross Progression.

This means that you’ll be able to team up with your friends whether they are on the PlayStation 4, PC, or on a mobile device. This is really big news for the game, and it means that the already massive audience of players diving into Fortnite Battle Royale is only going to get bigger and bigger.

If you’re interested in trying out Fortnite Battle Royale on mobile, then you can sign up for the iOS invite list on Monday, March 12 on the official Fortnite website. From here you’ll receive an invite with a link to download the game from the App Store. Keep in mind that they’ll be adding players over time, so you may not get an invite as soon as they start going out next week. You’ll need a device with iOS 11 in order to play the game, so keep that in mind if you’re rocking an older iPhone or iPad.
