Twitch is adding even more exclusive Fortnite loot to the Twitch Prime Pack, according to a recent announcement from the Twitch blog. On March 29, Fortnite players who are subscribed to Twitch Prime or Amazon Prime can look forward to a complimentary in-game pickaxe in Fortnite Battle Royale. The pickaxe will be released in addition to the other exclusive cosmetic items available in the Twitch Prime Pack.

Starting Thursday, March 29, Twitch Prime subscribers will receive the exclusive Fortnite Battle Royale Instigator Pickaxe for being a valued member. To get the exclusive Fortnite Twitch cosmetic items, all you need to do is have a Twitch Prime membership and link your Twitch account to your Epic Games account.

Fortnite’s new Instigator Pickaxe is being added to the existing loot available in the Twitch Prime Pack, which includes the Havoc and Sub Commander outfits, the Slipstream Glider, Back Bling, and Twitch chat emotes. Fortnite players who have already claimed their Twitch Prime Pack will find the new pickaxe in the in-game Locker on Fortnite this Thursday.

If you’re a Twitch Prime subscriber and haven’t snagged your exclusive Fortnite items yet, follow the steps below to learn how to link your accounts to claim your free Twitch Prime Pack.

  • Go to the Twitch Prime Pack page on the Epic Games website and select “Have Twitch Prime?”
  • Sign in to your Epic Games account.
  • Sign in to your Twitch account, then select the option to link your account.
  • Authorize Epic Games to use your Twitch account.
  • Head over to Twitch and select the crown icon in the upper right corner for New Prime Loot.
  • Click the Claim Now button to get your Twitch Prime cosmetic items in Fortnite.

If you followed the steps above, your Twitch and Epic Games accounts should now be linked. The next time you load up Fortnite Battle Royale, you should find the exclusive Twitch cosmetic items in your Locker.
