Fortnite has had an amazing year so far, knocking out consistent updates and even breaking ground across platforms with the announcement of their upcoming mobile version of Fortnite Battle Royale. There's no doubt that Fortnite has taken the world by storm, and it seems like Fortnite has become a household name amongst both gamers and non-gamers alike. Now, developer Epic Games plans to make waves at E3 2018 by hosting a massive Fortnite bash for fans to enjoy.

Celebrities, athletes, and gamers from around the world will go head-to-head during the premier Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am at this year’s E3 in Los Angeles. In the Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am, 50 celebrities and entertainers will go up against 50 professional gamers in a battle royale of Epic proportions. One hundred players join the battle, but only one team can claim the Victory Royale.

The Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am will make up the bulk of the Fortnite Party Royale celebration at E3, which consists of a massive party to celebrate all things Fortnite.

Teams are still being built for the Celebrity Pro-Am, so be sure to check back here for details on who might be attending the event. The competition will be streamed live during E3 for those who can’t make it to the convention.

In addition to today’s announcement, Epic also rolled out a new patch update for Fortnite early this morning. Fortnite Update v3.3 adds remote explosives, supply llamas, and St. Patrick’s Day quests to Fortnite, along with various bug fixes and gameplay adjustments.

A new series of weekly challenges went live today as well, so if you’re a Battle Pass holder, head over to our guide to find out where to search between a vehicle tower, rock sculpture, and circle of hedges in Fortnite.
