The Battle Pass will include two Season 8 outfits and will have the chance to earn five more. Current Battle Pass owners who complete the Overtime Challenges will earn new unlockable styles for the Trog, Powder, and Onesie outfits.

Epic is also bringing back gifting until February 22. In the further spirit of Valentine’s Day, players can send a Heartspan Glider to their special friend for free until February 15, 7pm ET.

Season 8 is expected to launch on February 27 or 28. In the meantime, players can dive into the new content introduced in the v7.40 patch. They include a new infantry rifle, limited time mode rotations, and two limited time modes.

The first mode is called Catch! In it, all guns are removed, and players can only use grenades against each other. The second is Team Rumble, where two large teams battle it out to be the first to get 100 eliminations.

Additional gameplay changes and updates are listed in the v7.40 patch notes. Check them out if you’re interested and enjoy your free Battle Pass!
