Console players, rejoice! Thanks to Fortnite patch 3.0.0, Fortnite can now run in a buttery-smooth 60 frames per second on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to the patch notes from Epic, the new 60 FPS mode was “hand-tuned for each console to provide an extra-smooth gaming experience while maintaining visual fidelity.”

One of the most exciting parts of each major Fortnite update is the prospect of new outfits, weapons, and gear being added to the game. In terms of customizations, Fortnite patch 3.0.0 certainly didn’t disappoint.

Not only can Fortnite players look forward to some amazing new skins like the Mission Specialist space suit we reported on earlier this week, but players who reach Tier 100 in the new Season 3 Battle Pass can unlock The Reaper, a John Wick-inspired outfit perfect for exacting revenge on your opponents.

Fans of Back To The Future can channel their inner Marty by gliding across the battlegrounds using the all new Hoverboard, which is exclusive to the Save the World game mode. If Battle Royale is your mode of choice, then you can look forward to making a grand entrance using one of several new Skydiving FX for your character. There’s also new gliders, pickaxes, dance emotes, and back bling up for grabs as well. Check out some of the new features in the trailer below.

Alongside the new outfits and item customizations, today’s patch also fixed various bugs and issues across both Save the World and Battle Royale. Among the changes were improvements to the game’s Build Mode, which include automatic material swapping and a new Turbo Building feature.

There’s still time to grab some Dragon Weapons and Lunar New Year goodies during the Fortnite Spring It On event as well, so make sure to complete your event missions before they’re gone.
