Fortnite Battle Royale has quickly become one of the top games we play each week, and the game continues to grow as Epic Games continues to develop for it, making the mode more interesting with each patch. One of the most interesting changes they’ve made lately introduces a new Battle Pass, which will allow players to unlock all the game’s cosmetic rewards much quicker.

The Battle Pass is an interesting idea that changes up the Season Store, which previously unlocked items for players to purchase as they leveled up. Reach a certain level in the game, and then you could purchase any items that you wanted with V-Bucks, the premium in-game currency that players can purchase for use inside of Fortnite.

Now, though, the Season Store is gone, and instead players can purchase the Battle Pass, which will allow them to level up and unlock those items without having to purchase them individually. On top of that, players will also receive quite a few items for their purchase, which are all outlined when you go to purchase the Battle Pass.

Right now players can purchase the Battle Pass for just 950 V-bucks, which is roughly $9.99 if you have to purchase them outright. Of course, there are other ways to get V-Bucks, and players can definitely grind their way up to purchasing the Battle Pass with currency earned in-game, but it’s going to take a bit longer. Normally the Battle Pass will cost you 1,800 V-Bucks, which is roughly $20 in V-Buck purchases.

Is the purchase worth it? Well, that’s something that’s definitely going to be up to the player. Not every player will find use in the Battle Pass, and that’s okay. This service is clearly offered for those who want to put several hours into Fortnite Battle Royale, like those who play it as their main game. If you spend a lot of time in Fortnite Battle Royale, though, and you want to increase your chances of getting sweet loot for your troubles, then this is definitely an option that you’ll want to look into.
