How to Collect Infinity Stones In Fortnite Avengers Endgame Event

Getting those Infinity Stones in the new Fortnite Avengers event is key.

The Fortnite Avengers Endgame event is now live but unlike the first time battle royale and Marvel collided, there’s more than just Thanos to contend with. This time, players can equip iconic items from the Avengers and must stop Thanos and his team from collecting all of the Infinity Stones. The latest Limited Time Mode, titled Endgame, sees Thanos and his Chitauri army searching for these stones and we’re here to make that search a little more efficient.

First things first, how the mode works. There are two teams: Thanos’ team, and the heroes team. The heroic side must stop Thanos and his army from collecting all six stones, while the enemy team must do everything they can to ensure that all of them are collected. Since the deaths don’t necessarily stick due to the mode’s revive feature, blocking is key for heroes that want to win.

As time goes on during the match, an additional Infinity Stone will drop. When landed, players can see the drop zone marked on the compass is located at the top of the screen alongside the location of Thanos himself. For Thanos, all he has to do is see where the drop happened and get there before the heroes to collect the stone.

Each stone grants Thanos a specific power, as seen below:

  • Mind Stone – Double jump height
  • Power Stone – 6x more laser damage
  • Reality Stone – Double health and shield
  • Soul Stone – Shields
  • Space Tone – Triple damage on ground pound attack
  • Time Stone – Triple damage

For those that complete the Endgame challenges, there’s a nifty Quinjet Glider as a reward!

The latest event is now live on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. You can learn more about exactly how the mode works here with our previous coverage. Happy hunting, Avengers!
