It’s the final week of Fortnite Season 4, which means there’s only one more set of weekly challenges to complete before the season ends. Just like at the end of Season 3, one of the Week 10 challenges for Season 4 tells players to skydive through different floating rings in Fortnite Battle Royale. To complete this challenge, you will need to skydive through the required number of floating rings prior to even setting foot on the ground. We’ve come up with several tips to help you easily glide through each ring and help you complete the floating rings challenge in Fortnite.
How to Skydive Through Floating Rings
Most of the time in Fortnite, the goal is to try to land fast so you can start looting as soon as possible. While that’s still generally the case, this challenge may require you to slow your descent a bit.
For the Fortnite floating rings challenge, you’ll see an assortment of colored rings suspended in the air as you prepare to leap from the Battle Bus at the start of each match. The goal of the floating rings challenge is to glide and skydive your way through 20 different rings in the sky during your descent from the Battle Bus.
The floating rings are suspended at different heights, so it’s best to try to line up with more than one ring to maximize the number you skydive through. The pink rings are suspended the highest, with darker blue rings a bit lower, and light blue rings closest to the ground.
Pick a ring closest to you as soon as you leap from the Battle Bus. The rings are more grouped up this time than they were last season, which should make it easier to skydive through multiple rings each match. If you can position yourself directly above a ring, press forward to quickly skydive straight through the ring and aim for the next one. As you skydive through a ring, you’ll hear an audio cue and have the quest notification pop on the screen if you have them enabled.
You should be able to hit at least three floating rings in a single skydiving attempt. It will still take several matches to skydive through all 20 floating rings, but the more floating rings you skydive through in a single freefall, the sooner you can complete the floating rings challenge in Fortnite.
