Fortnite Tomato Town Treasure Map Location

Here’s the solution to the Tomato Town treasure map in Fortnite.

Fortnite Season 4 is officially upon us, which means there’s a whole new set of Season 4 Battle Pass challenges to complete, including one that tasks players with following a treasure map found in Tomato Town in Fortnite. Although Fortnite’s treasure map hunts are labeled as ‘Hard’ challenges, you don’t need to find the map itself to locate the treasure, which makes them much easier to complete. In this guide, we’ll briefly show you where to find treasure marked on the Fortnite Tomato Town treasure map in Battle Royale to help you earn some easy Battle Pass points.

Treasure hunts were common challenges during Season 3, and it looks like Season 4 is no different. You won’t need to find the actual treasure map in Tomato Town to complete this challenge. All you have to do is head straight to the treasure location if you know where it is. But, if you’re curious, here’s what the Tomato Town treasure map looks like when you find it in Forntite:

Based on the large body of water on the Tomato Town treasure map, the treasure is buried somewhere in Loot Lake. More specifically, a Battle Star can be found on the east side of Loot Lake where a boat has sunk part way into the water. Look for a dirt patch with a large boulder nearby. We’ve marked the Tomato Town treasure location with a blue waypoint marker on Loot Lake in the map below.

Search around the end of the boat sticking up from the water. When you are in the correct location, a Battle Star will pop up. Collect the Battle Star to complete the challenge to follow the treasure map in Tomato Town and earn 10 Stars toward your Battle Pass rank. You will also be a short distance from the newly formed crater in Dusty Divot if you wanted to try out the new gravity-defying Hop Rocks.

You need to have purchased the Season 4 Battle Pass in order to complete any of Fortnite’s weekly challenges, as their purpose is to level up the Battle Pass itself. Note that you must also complete the match by either winning or being eliminated in order for the treasure to count toward the challenge, so don’t just back out to the lobby after collecting the treasure.

That’s it! You should now have at least one challenge marked off your list for Week 1 of Fortnite Season 4. Next, we suggest you complete the Fortnite Letter Locations challenge to earn another quick dose of Battle Pass points.
