How to Use Fast Travel

Fast travel in Forza Horizon 4 is open right from the start and players can easily fast travel between the Horizon Festival and their houses all around the map. Taking advantage of the fast travel options in Forza Horizon will cost CR, though, and if you’re in the habit of running around to each house or Festival location a lot, then those travel bills can definitely add up. That’s where Fast Travel Boards come into play.

Fast Travel Boards are signs situated around the game map that players can locate and destroy. Once destroyed, players will receive a reduced amount on the CR that each Fast Travel usage costs them. If you manage to find and snag all of the Fast Travel Boards around the world, then you’ll find yourself able to Fast Travel for almost nothing, which is great if you aren’t a huge fan of always driving halfway across the map to reach different areas.

Of course, in order to Fast Travel to things like houses you will need to purchase them first. You’ll get one of your first houses pretty early on, giving you an extra play to customize your character and change out your cars customization options. But, as you explore the game world more and earn more money and Influence, you can discover and purchase even more houses to travel to.

Another thing that players should do is keep an eye out and unlock the Fairlawn Manor, as this will allow you to Fast Travel to any road on the map. Of course, you’ll still need to pay a small amount of credits to do so, but it opens up Fast Travel options, and should be something you look into as quickly as possible.

Now that you know how Fast Travel works in Forza Horizon 4, it’s time to get out there and make a name for yourself. It shouldn’t take you long to start locating these boards hidden around the game world—they’ll grey out once you’ve demolished them.
