After numerous leaks, the latest Tom Clancy game has officially been revealed with a brand new trailer showing off Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

The new story begins with a feature from Skell, a fictional facet within the Ghost Recon universe. With enhanced technology mixing with mythical legends, the next phase of Tom Clancy's epic universe is coming in hot with an explosive new narrative based on "Us vs. Them" and that's where the player comes in.

With lethal weapons that threaten the world on a global scale being created with abandon, it's up to our team to get in there and keep the world safe from ruthless technology.

For those that enjoyed Ghost Recon Wildlands, Breakpoint is a direct sequel and will have players once more in the role of callsign Nomad. This time, Nomad is trapped behind enemy lines and must wrest control from Skell drones to keep the situation neutral.

Set in the Auoroa islands, the in-game world is one filled with dangers - and not just human enemies either. From steep mountains to dangerous swamps - even a volcano - there is a lot more than just gunfire to consider when it comes to the upcoming Ghost Recon title.

As seen in the video also are the Wolves, which work similarly to Ghosts. For those that like stealth, Breakpoint will very much scratch that itch and the world mentioned above will play a huge part in that. The Wolves are also led by a Cole D. Walker, played by Jon Bernthal. Bernthal played a key role in a recent Wildlands DLC update. We would go more in detail about his character, though that's a pretty big spoiler for the latest DLC.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 4th.
