Even though it’s not headed to PlayStation 4 – just yet, anyway – Gran Turismo 6 still has fans revving up for another round of authentic simulation racing as only Polyphony Digital can deliver. Now European fans that want to get the most from this virtual ride can invest in a special collector’s edition, announced today on the PlayStation Blog.
The Gran Turismo 6 Anniversary Edition will feature a number of items ideal for racing enthusiasts, including a Steelbook collector’s case, one million in-game credits, 20 cars that feature the 15th Anniversary custom livery and performance enhancement, custom paint chips and race gear – including suit and helmet – and the Apex II, which is an updated edition of the original Apex game guide. Although this edition hasn’t been announced for the U.S., it’s likely to show up here, since we have plenty of people excited for the game.
Meanwhile, a couple of retailers in the U.S. are offering pre-order bonuses for the game. GameStop has an exclusive version of the Anniversary Edition that will give you access to 16 bonus cars, while Amazon is offering the one million in-game credits separately.
Gran Turismo 6 is scheduled to release later this year for PlayStation 3.
