GTA 5: The Construction Assassination- How to Achieve Gold Completion

A guide to gold completion for the Construction Assassination in Grand Theft Auto 5.

Grand Theft Auto 5, like its predecessor, features a series of assassination missions. There are a total of five, which can only be completed by Franklin and are assigned to him by Lester. Today we are going to cover The Construction Assassination and guide you to Gold completion.

In the cut scene that introduces each assignment, Lester will give Franklin tips about which companies to invest in, and which should be avoided on the two in-game stock markets. This information is nothing short of insider trading, and if done correctly, players can earn more than $150 million for each of the three playable characters. With that in mind, we recommend that you do not complete any of the assassination missions prior to finishing the fourth and final heist in Grand Theft Auto 5, The Big Score! Waiting until you receive the money from this heist will help maximize your profits on the stock market.

Pre-Requisite Missions: The Bus Assassination

Contact Point: Lester

Gold Completion Requirements

-No Fly Zone

-Money Earned

Prior to beginning this mission, players should invest all of their money into Gold Coast, which can be found on the Liberty City National stock exchange. Be sure to do this with all three of the playable characters.

After the cut scene, grab a vehicle and follow the yellow route on your GPS. Drive into the marker to trigger the mission, but do not go in through the front entrance. Drive around the block to Adam’s Apple Boulevard. Drive your vehicle through the back entrance and run down the lone gunman standing guard. Drive a few more feet until you see the ramp to the elevator. Be careful, there’s one more bad guy just to your left. As you exit your vehicle, equip a weapon with a suppressor and take him down.

Enter the elevator and press the right directional pad to go up. Once the elevator stops, hop off and prepare for battle. There’s a total of six guards on this level. Continue to move up using the ample cover. Peek out and take enemies down one at a time as they present themselves. Don’t hesitate to toss grenades to dig bad guys out of hard-to-reach places. There’s no need to expose yourself to danger.

Once you’ve taken down the sixth gunman, head for the elevator indicated by the yellow dot on your radar. Be careful, there’s two additional gunman on it, so take them down quickly and hop aboard. Take another ride, this time to the top floor.

When the elevator stops, immediately take cover behind the Grade C Construction Ply directly in front of you. There will be several bad guys engaging you. Peek from behind cover and take them down one-by-one. Your target, Enzo Benelli, is on the helicopter. Try to take it down with an RPG, but if you miss, just shoot the pilot using whatever weapons you prefer. Taking the helicopter down is part of the Gold Completion, so don’t miss this part. Even with the target down, there might be a few stragglers. Take them down if they’re a threat, otherwise it’s time to leave the area.

You should notice a parachute on the ground next to you. If you have one, don’t worry about it. If not, grab it. Run to the edge of the building and jump off. You can only free fall for a few seconds before you pull the chute. Try to avoid hitting light posts and buildings; it would be a shame to die now. Once you land, Franklin will call Lester to let him know the job is done. Being the final mission of the assassination chain, the $10,000 reward is very fitting.

If you followed our guide for this, as well as all the other assassination missions, you should have the Gold completion for each one. In addition, you should be extremely rich, allowing you to buy all the property available to the three playable characters in Grand Theft Auto 5.
